Request A Report

The Police Records Office is responsible for the maintenance and storage of all police reports, criminal records, criminal investigations, motor vehicle crashes and all service call reports.

The Police Records Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays.

NEW JERSEY POLICE CRASH INVESTIGATION REPORT

There are two ways to obtain a crash report. When the report is made available you have the option of:

- Online at CRASHDOCS.ORG - You will need the report number (i.e. YYYY-12345), last name of involved party and date of the crash. There is a fee to obtain the report on the website.

-Come to the Records Bureau to pick up a copy of the report.

RECORDS / REPORT REQUEST

Regarding all other police reports, be advised that many police reports are restricted from public access or examination. If you are a victim of an incident, the police department will make every effort to assure that you receive the report(s) needed, but even so, some materials may not be available to you. Reports must be picked up in person with photo identification and are not able to be faxed or emailed.

Please contact the Records Office at (856) 767-4700 with questions regarding your request for a police report and the availability of same. Information about the report or persons involved will not be release over the telephone.

Discovery requests must be made in writing and mailed to:
