Couple Arrested with Handgun & Quantity of Narcotics
Berlin Police have arrested Bryheem Catoe, 25, of Camden and Dahceyana Greene, 21, of Willingboro with having in their possession, a quantity of narcotics and a .22 caliber handgun during a motor vehicle search.
On May 27th, a patrol officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on the White Horse Pike in the area of Park Drive for a traffic violation. During the course of the stop, Catoe provided the officer with a false name prior to admitting there was a handgun in the center console area. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the finding of the loaded handgun, several ounces of marijuana, a quantity of ecstasy pills, narcotics packaging materials, and several scales used to weigh narcotics.
Catoe was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, as well as several offenses related to possession of the weapon. He was remanded to Camden County Jail on a warrant in default of bail. He has a pending court date in Camden County Superior Court.
Greene was charged with possession of marijuana and issued a summons to appear in Superior Court.
Charges are mere accusations and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
